Who We Are
The Platform for Agrobiodiversity Research (PAR) is a multistakeholder partnership that brings together national and international research and development organizations with civil society and indigenous peoples groups to share knowledge and experiences that can improve agrobiodiversity maintenance and use. PAR works with organizations and individuals throughout the world on all aspects of agrobiodiversity.
Our Objectives
Support the development of an agrobiodiversity knowledge base.
Identify ways in which agrobiodiversity can address some major global challenges.
Identify and facilitate relevant new and innovative research partnerships that strengthen agrobiodiversity research.
Spread awareness about the importance of agrobiodiversity through communications.
