The DIVERSIFARM Project
The DIVERSIFARM project, led by Fridtjof Nansen Institute, Norway, is entering an exciting phase: We are starting to plan our fieldwork on “Pathways to food security, poverty alleviation and livelihoods through the implementation of farmers rights to crop genetic diversity” in Nepal, Ethiopia and Malawi – and the first peer-reviewed paper from this project was published in Frontiers in Plant Science: “Farmers’ Rights and Digital Sequence Information: Crisis or Opportunity to Reclaim Stewardship Over Agrobiodiversity?”, thanks to the joint effort of Rachel Wynberg, Regine Andersen, Sarah Laird, Kudzai Kusena, Christian Prip and Ola Westengen.
